Online Dating Book- Are You Still Afriad To Try Online Dating

Category: Dating Guidesadmin @ 3:31 am

The Online Dating Book takes a look at why so many singles still afraid to try online dating chances are they are going to stay single. Online dating has a stigma about it still that is stopping perfectly normal singles from having a go at a tried and trusted way of meeting someone.

Millions of singles worldwide are already joined online dating websites, and thousands are joining them daily. The reason they are joining them is because they have jumped the obstacle of it being something “normal people” don’t do. The truth is, these people are normal, and they will be normal even after they have met someone they are compatible with, and eventually get married to.

These singles are no different to singles that date offline. They just have the advantage of knowing something about someone before they contact them. They still talk to them in a normal way, and get to know them in a normal way. What can possibly be so unnatural about that? You’re right. “Nothing.” Getting to know someone online is as healthy as it is rewarding.

Safety can be an issue with some singles dating online. They let this stop them from trying online dating, and let it stop them from meeting someone they never would have met offline. Dating someone online doesn’t get any safer. It’s the meeting them offline that becomes the danger, and that has nothing to do with talking to them online first. You can still meet singles that are not who they say they are in a bar or club. Careful planning with some cross referenced questioning (that isn’t too obvious ) can make your dates as fun and safe as they can ever be.

Just getting over the fact that there is nothing wrong with online dating can have a positive effect on someone’s life. It will put a romantic glow back into someone’s face, and make them feel that they are achieving something.

It’s fun, cheap, and a lot more entertaining than sitting there thinking about a relationship. You can actually be in one. So when you are the only one out of you and your friends having a date at the weekend, you can say with pride “I met them online.”

Book an online date with destiny – online dating – give it ago!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock or on a remote island, you will know that online dating has become second nature and a choice by instinct for busy and smart singles.

We’ve all heard of the horror stories shared by the media and online dating reviews about liaisons gone wrong with online dating. Some pretty common bad experiences we sometimes hear about include people mis-representing themselves when comparing their real life appearance to their online dating profile. We hear stories about online daters meeting up only to discover their picture doesn’t match them in person, or their profile picture is 10 years old, we even hear about cheeky online singles posting photos on their dating profile of someone else!

Ever heard how one bad apple can spoil the whole batch? With online dating, we don’t hear enough about the thousands of successful outcomes experienced by technologically savvy singles!

In America alone, there is an average of 3 million marriages each year, with online dating accounting for an average of 360,000 of these marriages which is basically 10% of all marriages in America each and every year. So to those people who are inclined to knock online dating sites, you can hardly argue with this statistic. Then you need to factor in the de-facto relationships and casual relationships discovered through online dating, and we are realistically talking about over 1 million new relationships each year in America thanks to online dating.

And who could argue or find fault with the concept of online dating – the facts speak for themselves. If you know how to pick a non-genuine online dater, and have an eye for the real deal, the internet has an array of free online dating sites with real people. A recent media report from Australia claims that online dating usage is up more than 200% compared to last year (2008). And unlike many so called free offers we see around these days by marketing companies, a select number of free online dating sites are ad-funded and have no need to charge member subscriptions, so they really do offer the lot for free – free to browse – free to join – free to contact – free to chat.

Even though we can date for free online, some online singles prefer to stick with the tried and trusted established online dating sites, and are prepared to pay for their membership, which is fair enough, sometimes it’s better to stick to what you know and trust especially when it comes to finding someone to share your life with.

Match.com is the worlds largest online dating site and charge their members a subscription to use their dating service which proves that many singles are first and foremost selecting their choice of dating service by reputation over cost.
